Sustainable Travel

The burning of fossil fuels is bad for our planet. Fact. I’m not even going to argue that point. Petrol cars are one of the biggest culprits when it comes to using up the planet’s natural resources and releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. That’s why it’s time to start to think about trying something different. Electric powered cars are becoming increasingly popular. That’s why you see more and more charging locations for electric cars, like the NewMotion charging station, popping up.

You should really try to avoid unnecessary car journeys where possible. Walking places is not just good for the environment, but it’s also a great form of exercise.

Recycle & Reuse

Probably the easiest way to be more sustainable is to recycle. It really isn’t that hard to do. Most homes these days have separate recycling bins that you can sort your household waste into. And for those items that don’t go in your bins, then just take them along to your local tidy tip or recycling centre.

Even better than recycling something, is to reuse it yourself. This can be really easy to do with items such as glass jars – find some tips on what to do with your glass jars here.
